Global Gossip is an Australian owned company that delivers communication services including desktop and in room wireless internet access as well mobile phone services to more than 20 000 customers daily in 6 countries (Australia, NZ, Fiji, USA, UK and Spain). We take great care to understand how people are using the Internet.

Our History

Our first foray into the commercial world was as a chain of Internet cafes, where we provided the latest hardware with the fastest connections possible, all provided in convenient locations for travellers away from home. Our Internet cafes never served cake or coffee as we wanted to focus on what we do best, providing outstanding Internet access to our customers.

Our Platforms

Using this knowledge, we have developed two unique platforms:

  • HSIA (High Speed Internet Access) product, installed in our partner hotels and resorts around the world
  • Global Gossip SIM mobile product.

Today

Global Gossip has moved into the mainstream hospitality market with a proprietary suite of in room and conference wireless management systems. As early adopters of Ruckus wireless equipment we have delivered robust systems in remote areas and we have enjoyed great success with these products.

This success has allowed us the opportunity to deliver guest internet solutions including full property management system integration to clients such as the Sheraton Mirage Gold Coast Resort and Spa, the Hermitage hotel at Mount Cook and the 955 room Melia Castilla in Spain. We have also developed a strong partnership with Xanterra in the US, rolling out full Wireless internet systems to more than 2000 rooms in the hotels and resorts within Yellowstone National Park, Death Valley and the Grand Canyon.

Today's hotel guest is yesterday's tech-savvy youth - their expectations are high. They have the latest devices, want the fastest Internet speeds, and our systems need to support them first time, every time - we need to stay ahead of the curve.
