Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Event Provisioning (MICE)

Business meetings and conferences today require reliable and robust Internet connectivity for media streaming, video conferencing or simply checking email and it is likely the delegates will all have multiple devices which need to connect. Public IP addresses, shared server resources, printing, increased bandwidth on-the-fly for a large conference are all part of the service. Global Gossip Conference module means you can manage all of this and more using our web-based management system.  No more paperwork to complete and fax, no more calls to “tech support” on the morning of the event because something’s not working.  Each conference gets its own private part of the network including a unique Wi-Fi SSID (Network Name) which is specified by event management staff using our web-based system.  Device limits, bandwidth limits, time limits, Mb download limits are all configurable on a per-conference basis.

Automatic Scheduling
  • A calendar view of all conference areas shows exactly what Internet access has been provisioned for each room on each day.  At the start of the conference the IP network is automatically configured with SSID broadcasts in that area and VLAN configuration of data ports in the conference rooms.  Even if a conference spans multiple rooms at opposite ends of the hotel they can become part of the same VLAN enabling shared resources across both areas. Once the conference ends, the data ports and Wi-Fi SSID are automatically disabled preventing further network access.
Reporting

Reports are available to show you exactly what Internet access was used during each conference or event.  This opens up possibilities for flexible billing arrangements based on how many delegates connected and how much data they used over what time period.
